In addition to the core and supplementary curricula, Pearson Schools attempts further contribution towards learning outcomes through the value added curriculum. The curriculum comprises a set of innovative programmes for academic, cultural and co-scholastic progress.

English Reading

ENGLISH READING

The 15 Books Campaign is designed with a simple agenda to encourage students to read more. The campaign has specific guidelines to ensure the creation of a universal reading culture.

ENGLISH WRITING

Written Expression is a programme specially designed to develop writing skills, encouraging students to collaborate and create original texts, to critically appreciate them and to explore writing as a hobby and possible career option.

Schools offer training in contemporary dance, western jazz and tap dances, as well as Indian dance forms, based on student requirements. Similarly, children have access to music classes which include the privilege of being taught by experts in that field.

  • SPIC MACAY

A non-profit, voluntary movement to promote Indian classical music and culture, the objectives of SPIC MACAY are to assist the exchange of traditional values, familiarise children with cultural heritage, and to draw cultural and aesthetic awareness into mainstream education. SPIC MACAY is currently present in over 1000 academic institutions, holding at least 2000 events a year in 150 Indian cities and 50 cities abroad.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES

International Programmes are planned regularly to enable the students to interact with students of various International Institutions. The visit to the Potomac School in Washington USA was the first step.Our senior students also visited the Space Research Centre in the USA approved by the NASA, where they got hands on experience in the team building skills, space simulator training, conducting experiments that are performed in the space shuttle, understood the challenges faced by astronauts in space and experienced scuba diving.
