DigiClass

A multi-media based learning solution that combines state-of-the-art hardware with syllabi compliant content, customised to suit the syllabi offered by K-12 schools. As a result,traditional blackboard-and-chalk classrooms are transformed into interactive ones,making learning come alive for students.

Sporting Facilities

The schools provide expansive playgrounds as well as a well-constructed sporting area ideal for a variety of games. As a result, there is both space and provision for all kinds of sport, as well as indoor games.

The Library

All our schools have a well-stocked library that includes periodicals, journals, magazines, newsletters, fiction, reference books and encyclopaediae. The library also offers integrated

The Class Pyramid

Students who have shown merit in academics, co-curricular activities or social conduct, are given a place in a ‘class pyramid’. It essentially depicts the collective efforts and achievements of a class, and inspires students to work harder through healthy competition.

Group Activities

We believe that group activities help children to develop their communication skills and improve their interpersonal relationships. Collaborative learning techniques are used to improve team-building skills such as organisation, delegation, negotiation, teamwork, cooperation and leadership.

Circle Time

Circle Time is a social activity that encourages informal yet meaningful discussions in class, allowing students to exchange thoughts and learn from one another. The circle formation in which they sit ensures that each student can see all the other members of their class. We believe that it raises their self-worth while encouraging them to be more open and trusting.

Field Trips

Field trips help deepen a student’s interest in a topic by creating a more hands-on, relevant learning experience. They also benefit teachers by giving them opportunities to generate greater attentiveness to a subject. We schedule many field trips in an academic year; they have proven to be a great asset in the learning process.

Star of the Week

Star of the Week is a rewad mechanism that we use to build our student's self-confidence.A student is chosen every week to wear a "star",the student's parents visit the school during that week to share their child's positive attributes with his/her class.Apart from creating healthy self-esteem,this activity also facilitates a strong home-school partnership.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY A ROLE IN THE LEARNING PROCESS

Parents are methodically appraised of their child’s progress with the help of personal portfolios, while regular Open Houses allow them to directly interact with teachers. They are also involved in the many non-academic events and activities that occur in school, no matter how informal.

STUDENT PORTFOLIOS

The schools record students‘ efforts, progress and achievements. in individual portfolios, integral to assessing their academic journey. These portfolios reveal the skills and understanding of each student, and their growth over a period of time.

THE EASY TRANSFER OF STUDENTS ACROSS PEARSON’S NETWORK OF SCHOOLS IN INDIA

Re-location is often a difficult time for parents, primarily because of the complexities involved in transferring their child to a different school. However, children transferring between two Pearson Schools will not face the usual difficulties; this is due to a certain uniformity across all Pearson Schools with regard to the syllabus, co-curricular activities and the general environment.

Our core curriculum provides students with the knowledge required by the traditional Indian education system. However, we go a step further, using simple techniques to ensure a genuine engagement with taught subjects. MATH PRACTICE
Math practice is a programme designed to improve student's conceptual understanding of math through commonly available everyday material. This hands-on involvement encourages divergent and lateral thinking and,therefore,innovation in daily life.

DIAGNOSTICS
Helping both students and parents achieve a better understanding of learning needs,the diagnostic programme identifies academic strengths and weaknesses.The school and family then work together to bridge the gap.

SCIENCE EXPERIMENT AND APPLICATION
Aimed particularly at students from grades 1 to 8, the science experiment programme comprises kits that can be made into working models. The approach is hands-on and activity-based, allowing students to acquire a deeper understanding of the subject.

GRAMMAR PROGRAMME
Grammar Programme uses a natural learning process to improve grammar skills. It comprises worksheets, exercises, speech activities, listening, reading and conversation to help students master the English language.

SPORTS AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
The schools follow a structured curriculum prescribed by the NASPE (National Association of Sports and Physical Education) to identify students with athletic potential, with the help of academies and professionals. In addition, students follow a year-round sport and physical education programme.

LEARNING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME
The Learning Improvement Programme includes board exam preparation for students of higher classes, especially in cases of special need.

Schools offer training in contemporary dance, western jazz and tap dances, as well as Indian dance forms, based on student requirements. Similarly, children have access to music classes which include the privilege of being taught by experts in that field.

• SPIC MACAY

A non-profit, voluntary movement to promote Indian classical music and culture, the objectives of SPIC MACAY are to assist the exchange of traditional values, familiarise children with cultural heritage, and to draw cultural and aesthetic awareness into mainstream education. SPIC MACAY is currently present in over 1000 academic institutions, holding at least 2000 events a year in 150 Indian cities and 50 cities abroad.

International Programmes are planned regularly to enable the students to interact with students of various International Institutions. The visit to the Potomac School in Washington USA was the first step.Our senior students also visited the Space Research Centre in the USA approved by the NASA, where they got hands on experience in the team building skills, space simulator training, conducting experiments that are performed in the space shuttle, understood the challenges faced by astronauts in space and experienced scuba diving.

Career Guidance/Awareness

Students are provided with accurate and up-to-date information and guidance about career opportunities, chances to study abroad and competitive exams. So than they can make the right choice when it comes to life after school.

Talentia

An inter-school talent search organised for performing and visual arts, as well as sports. This also features MUN, the popular Mock UN event addressing many social issues.

Young Champs

Aimed at children between Nursery and Grade V, Young Champs is an event looked forward to all year round. It comprises competitive sports and other games – helping children associate health and fitness with having a good time.

Hungama

Hungama is an annual Pearson event that takes the form of a fun festival or a fete. Taking place around Children’s Day every year. This is a rare opportunity for children to plan and organise their own activities and events. On this day, rules and regulations are relaxed, and the notion of childhood itself is celebrated with carnival-like fervour.

Tirangaa

An annual event that acts as an inter-school platform, Tirangaa allows children to showcase their literary, artistic, and musical talents. The event revolves around a specific theme, often with a national connotations. It gives children an insight into Indian culture,seamlessly integrating learning with fun.
